I’m a screenwriter. I have a prior career as a human rights lawyer, and I’m still engaged in some of that work because it means a lot to me. Between screenplays, I write things here.

Keep an eye on the Projects page if you’d like to follow my work. I’ll try keep it updated with anything I can talk about.

Lawyer bio: Ian works with legal and policy frameworks to advance human rights at the international, regional, national, and local levels. His partners have included several United Nations organizations, the World Health Organization, the World Bank, and national governments. At the global level, Ian has worked with international criminal tribunals, seeking justice for genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes, and terrorism. Nationally, he has helped represent asylum seekers and refugees seeking resettlement. Locally, he has worked to address the legal needs of domestic violence and sexual assault survivors. He is licensed to practice law in California.
